Recommended Park Scheme A Success

The Recommended Park scheme, launched by Sell My Group last year, is a huge success. Having launched the scheme in the autumn to give those looking to invest in a park home more confidence when dealing with park operators.

Sell My Group, which owns the online platform Sell My Park Home, Sell My Lodge, Sell My Static Caravan, has seen interest in the scheme soar.

Great news for park operators

Justin Allitt, owner, explains: “The Recommended Park badge is recognised as a sign of quality. Consumers looking to invest in a park home know when they see this sign that they can trust the site operator to be open and transparent. Hence, interest in those sites which display the badge has increased.”

For everyone involved in the scheme, it has been immensely rewarding to see park operators benefit. Sell My Group is, therefore, delighted that to reveal it is an outstanding success, and will be working hard to extend it throughout 2018.”

Recognition for family-run parks

The scheme has heaped praise on family-run parks. Among those to gain Recommended Park status is Lamaleach Park, in Lancashire. The residential retirement park, set in a semi rural location in the village of Freckleton, near Lytham, gained the award in recognition of its high quality services and well-maintained facilities. The park proudly displays its Recommended Park badge on the homepage of its website.

Lamaleach Park is a great example of praise where praise is due. This superbly-run park is up-front about everything it offers. As well as providing first-class retirement homes, the park clearly displays its rules on its website so anyone new to park home living knows exactly what to expect.

Lamaleach Park is also recommended for its evolving lifestyle living ‘offer’. It has tailored its site and homes to meet changing consumer needs, providing bang up-to-date retirement options, including new developments.
