Forest Views Caravan Park is a small, peaceful park, located on the A595, at Moota, near Cockermouth, in the centre of the Lake District National Park.


Forest Views offers spectacular rural views across the open countryside towards Skiddaw. It is an ideal location for visiting the Western Lake District and the Scottish Borders. The park is open all year round and the static homes are set out in spacious bays surrounded by beautifully landscaped grounds with car parking beside each caravan. A 5mph speed limit is in operation around the park.  Consider this your home in the Lakes: the perfect get-away for the whole family (dogs included), where you can choose to do everything, or nothing at all.

Forest Views Caravan Park is just 6 miles from Bassenthwaite Lake, one of the largest, shallowest and most northerly of the lakes. We are 3.5 miles from the unspoilt Solway Coast at Maryport. It is in an ideal position for touring the Northern and Western Lake District, within easy travelling from Penrith, Carlisle and Whitehaven. The nearby lakes include Derwentwater, Loweswater, Buttermere, Ennerdale – beautiful scenery and great walking.
