In addition, there is a luxurious selection of static holiday homes for hire, as well as camping pods for those looking for something different, plus seasonal pitches are available for guests looking to have somewhere to return to time and again.The touring and camping pitches are spread over two separate fields at Lookout Holiday Park. The first field has all hardstanding pitches with electric hook-ups. The second has a combination of hardstanding and grass pitches and, again, all of these pitches have electric hook-ups. Both fields have an amenities block with toilets, basins and showers. Additional facilities offered at the site include a laundrette, complete with drying and ironing equipment.This is a family friendly park, however pets are not permitted.The park features a large children’s adventure play area, which is on the second field but is accessible to all guests. There is also an on-site games room open during the high season from Easter until the end of October, which has arcade games, table tennis and pool tables.In addition, there is a well-stocked convenience store on-site, so guests don’t need to venture away from Lookout Holiday Park in order to top up on their everyday essentials. As well as basic groceries and newspapers, wine and beer can be bought here.A stay at this campsite in Dorset ensures guests have immediate and direct access to some of the most beautiful landscape anywhere in England. The two nature reserves on the doorstep are perfect for anyone wanting to spend time outdoors, and are particular favourites among wildlife lovers and bird watchers. Walks across the surrounding countryside to Corfe Castle are always popular, while energetic guests often choose to explore the landscape via bicycle.A short distance away is the Purbeck Heritage Coast, while a little further along the coastline tourists can discover the Jurassic Coast of Dorset, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This section of coastline is perfect for walking, as well as for spending time on the beaches themselves. Most of the beaches are suitable for swimming, paddling and other water sports, while there are some cave networks to explore and areas designated for fossil digging.There are numerous places of interest to be visited away from the coast.
