The static section of the park is open from the middle of March until the end of October, while the seasonal site is open from the middle of May until the end of September.Facilities available for all guests to use during a stay at Southfield Farm Caravan Park include toilets, showers, a washing up area, a laundrette and Wi-Fi. A dog walking area is provided for guests that take their pets along to stay at the park, while there is also a children’s play area for little ones to enjoy.The park is just a short walk into Brean, where there are pubs, restaurants, cafes and shops. Many of the pubs in Brean offer live entertainment, particularly during the summer, so it’s easy to have a fun night out then walk back to the park. The village is also home to safe and sandy beaches, which are perfect for exploring and enjoying on your family holidays in Somerset. Whether you want to spend your day fishing, building sand castles or rock pooling, it's a destination for a great day out.If you want to head inland, you will soon find yourself within the glorious Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty – and it really is fabulous. From Southfield Farm Caravan Park you can easily get to iconic places and top tourist attractions, such as Wookey Hole Caves which is a 40- or 50-minute drive away, Cheddar Gorge which is about a 30- or 40-minute drive away, the small and charming cathedral city of Wells which is about a 50-minute drive from this park and Glastonbury, which is about 50 minutes by car from this park and is famous for its tor, its abbey and its festival.Just down the coast from Brean is the Bridgwater Bay National Nature Reserve, plus keep on going and in about 80 minutes you'll be in Minehead, which sits on the edge of the magnificent Exmoor National Park.
