Woodland Park is exclusive for the over 50s, with 45 homes and is a quiet and exclusive park on the outskirts of Sherwood Forest. The development is gated, offering security and privacy. The park is pet friendly, but this is at the park owner’s discretion. There is parking available for two cars on each plot. The park is in a conservation area, the park owner has adapted areas of the park to attract wildlife, including butterflies and hedgehogs. 

The park is located to offer a relaxing and peaceful setting; however, amenities are nearby. Just a five-minute walk away is the High St of Rainworth a small town outside of Mansfield with facilities including supermarkets and a post office. There is a bus into Mansfield every ten minutes with a bus stop directly outside the park. The countryside location provides walking routes from the site into forested areas.
