Pool House Caravan Park is a family-owned caravan park in the semi-rural location of Upton upon Severn and overlooks the banks of the stunning River Severn. There is a public transport link, shop, bar and restaurant within less than mile from the park as well as fishing on site. Upton upon Severn is a friendly, charming small town in Worcestershire where guests of the park will be able to find their amenities. The high street has a good collection of independent, quaint stores including a handmade chocolate factory and old book shops. The town has a good art scene with both galleries and floral sculpture in ceramics. Furthermore, the town is home to cosy coffee shops and local pubs such as The Ye Old Anchor Inn which serves traditional British classic dishes and hosts good events such as Live Sport nights. The town is home to both the international, famous Jazz Festival and colourful Folk Festival. The beautiful cathedral city of Worcester is less than half-an-hour away from the park and can be easily accessed by bus. The city offers a great selection of good quality restaurants and has a large variety of high street and independent retailers. There is much to do in the city such as visiting the Worcester City Gallery and Museum which has something for all ages to enjoy, there are a large variety of exhibitions, events and activities throughout the year as well as an interesting collection of objects including a real Roman Mosaic and Native American totem pole. There are also beautiful parks and gardens in the city including Gheluvelt Park- a beautiful memorial park built in honour of first world war soldiers and the stunning Worcester Woods Country Park. Furthermore, Malven Hill Views is an approximate half-hour drive from the park- a pleasant part of the countryside perfect for both energetic treks and gentle strolls across footpaths with riverside views.
