Sandy Bay Caravan Park is a quiet, well-maintained coastal park set across six acres, offering an opportunity to own a holiday home in one of Lancashire's most scenic settings. With sweeping views across Morecambe Bay and private gated access directly onto the sea wall pathway.
From the moment you step through the gate and onto the coastal path, the views speak for themselves. The Lake District, Lancaster, the Bowland Fells and Fleetwood are all visible from the pathway that runs directly alongside the park's boundary — a walking route you can enjoy at your leisure, right from your doorstep.
The park itself is flat and level, making it accessible and easy to navigate throughout the seasons. Sandy Bay operates an 11.5-month season, open from 1st March to 14th February, so owners can make the most of the coastline across spring, summer and autumn, and well into winter too. Whether you prefer the warmth of a July evening with the bay glinting in the sun, or a brisk February walk with the Fells in the distance, there is something genuinely special about having a base here throughout the changing seasons.
A ten-minute stroll along the coastal path brings you into the village of Knott End-on-Sea. Situated at the mouth of the River Wyre with Morecambe Bay to the north, Knott End has a good range of independent shops to cover everyday needs. The Hindquarter Butchers, a bakery, greengrocers, DIY shop and pet shop are all within easy reach, alongside a Co-op, Spar and chemist. For eating out, the village offers several cafes and pubs, a fish and chip shop, an Indian restaurant, Chinese takeaways and a pizza shop.
Knott End also has a bowling green, an 18-hole golf course and a library. From the village, a short passenger ferry crossing takes you over to Fleetwood, where a large indoor market and a wide range of shops await. From Fleetwood, the tramway links through to Cleveleys and on into Blackpool, opening up the wider Fylde Coast with ease.
