Finchale Abbey is a family run Touring Park that has been with the current owners since 1951. Set in the heart of the beautiful County Durham countryside, the park lies within a meander of the River Wear and overlooks the ruins of a Benedictine Priory. In 2006 we started transforming the static caravan park into a fully residential park home village. The peace and tranquillity of the Adult Only Touring Park encourages visitors from all over the world to return time and again. The park is ideally situated for visiting all of Co Durham's highlights, being less than an hour's drive from Sea, Dales, Moor lands, Towns and Cities and only four miles from the historic city of Durham.
