Riverside Drive Park is located in a woodland setting close to the River Frome in the Frenchay area to the North East part of Bristol. Access to the area is via the M32 motorway to the west, the A4174 road to the north which connects with the A38 in the west and the A432 road to the east.

The Park is located in a former quarry off Frenchay Road and Frenchay Hill/Pearces Hill. There is a housing estate to the immediate south and the River Frome and the Frome Valley Walkway to the north.

Local facilities can be found in Fishponds and Downend, whilst more comprehensive amenities can be obtained in Bristol centre itself. It has a woodland setting close to the river, access is via a splayed entrance drive leading to tarmac surfaced site roads.
