    Description

The Orchards Holiday Park is a beautiful, award-winning park nestled among historic apple orchards on the Isle of Wight, offering a rare opportunity to own your own holiday home in one of Britain's most celebrated island destinations. Set across fifteen acres of tranquil parkland, the park enjoys stunning panoramic views over an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Solent, with some of the sunniest days in the country and the beach just a ten-minute drive away.

    Life at The Orchards

Owning a holiday home at The Orchards means becoming part of something genuinely special. A family-run park since the 1950s, it has the kind of warmth and character that's difficult to find elsewhere. The moment you step onto the Isle of Wight ferry, you begin to feel the pressures of everyday life ease — and by the time you arrive at the park, relaxation comes naturally.

The park is open all year for owners, so whether you fancy a cosy winter weekend or a long summer stay with family and friends, your holiday home is ready when you are. The park is dog friendly, and a dedicated dog exercising area means four-legged family members are well catered for. Please note that The Orchards operates on an owners-only basis with no subletting permitted.

On-site facilities are excellent. There are two swimming pools — indoor and outdoor — with an indoor poolside coffee shop set within a garden conservatory. Two children's play areas serve different age groups, and there is a well-stocked shop and takeaway food bar. Electric vehicle charging is also available on site, hosted by MB Electrical and accessible via app, giving owners peace of mind for journeys to and from the Island.

The Isle of Wight – A Place Worth Coming Back To

The Isle of Wight has long held a special place in British life. In 2019, it was designated a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve — one of only seven in the UK — in recognition of its extraordinary and diverse natural ecosystems. Miles of coastal paths, cycling routes, ancient downland and forested valleys mean there is always somewhere new to explore, whatever the season.

Colwell Bay and Compton Bay are both within easy reach of the park, offering some of the Island's finest stretches of coastline. The Island is also known for its Jurassic fossil sites, hidden coves and family-friendly beaches, as well as its rich history, National Trust and Historic England properties, and a strong community of village pubs and restaurants, many of which are dog friendly and champion local produce.

Osborne House in East Cowes, Queen Victoria's beloved seaside retreat, is well worth a visit. The house, gardens and Swiss Cottage make for a wonderful day out, with seasonal events adding to the experience throughout the summer.

The town of Ryde, a favourite since Georgian times, offers independent shops, seafront walks, Appley Beach and one of the oldest piers in Britain. For something a little different, The Needles Landmark Attraction delivers views, history and a Victorian chairlift descent to the bay, along with the historic Old Battery dating back to 1861.
