The site is quiet with friendly residents, dogs are allowed and 2 cars on each pitch, with availability to park up to 4 cars for when you have visitors.  The park is exclusive for the over 50s and in a secluded location a short distance from the main road, with no traffic noise. Birds regularly visit the feeders on the park and deer are often seen in the forest surrounding the park. There are plenty of footpaths locally and the canal is nearby for waking and cycling.

Stoneyfold Park is located a short drive from Macclesfield, providing a countryside environment whilst still giving easy access to local amenities. The village of Bosley is also known for its rural charm, wildlife, and wonderful views of the Peak District. Macclesfield, Congleton, Leek and Buxton are equal distance away for shopping and entertainment facilities and a great selection of pubs, restaurants, and live music. Macclesfield includes all the main supermarkets, leisure center, medical centre, doctor surgery and train station with main line services to London and Manchester.
