Denbighshire splits into two kinds of park. The coast between Rhyl, Prestatyn and Kinmel Bay holds the larger holiday parks. Inland, the Vale of Clwyd and the Dee Valley carry smaller lodge parks at Llanrhaeadr, St Asaph, Llangollen, Corwen and Llandrillo.
Four parks take residents: two at Rhyl, one at Prestatyn and one at Ruthin.
The A55 runs along the coast and Chester sits under an hour from Rhyl, which puts the county in weekend reach of buyers from Merseyside, Cheshire and Greater Manchester. Season lengths and site fees differ between the coastal parks and the lodge parks inland, so ask each park for both.
