Flintshire's holiday parks sit in two groups. On the coast, Gronant and Gwespyr face the Dee estuary a few minutes from Prestatyn. Inland, Holywell has six holiday parks, with more at Caerwys, Afonwen and Mold in the Clwydian foothills.
Residential parks gather at Deeside, close to the English border, with another at Holywell.
The A55 and the Dee crossings put Chester 20 minutes from Deeside and Liverpool under an hour from Holywell, so you get a Welsh base without a long drive. Park homes in Wales come under the Mobile Homes (Wales) Act 2013, so ask each park for its written agreement and pitch fee before you buy.
