The East Riding lists more than 60 parks, and all but two are holiday parks. The coast carries most of them: Bridlington and Sewerby in the north, then Barmston, Atwick and Hornsea, down through Tunstall and Withernsea to Easington near Spurn Point.
Inland, the Wolds and the Hull valley hold smaller parks at Driffield, Beverley, Pocklington, Cottingham and Brandesburton.
The Holderness coast between Barmston and Spurn is one of the fastest-eroding coastlines in Europe, and some parks have moved pitches back from the cliff. Ask a coastal park where your pitch sits in relation to the cliff edge and how long its planning consent runs.
