If you’re thinking of buying a residential home then it’s a serious business, and you may welcome a pointer or two towards a name you can trust. Just like a bricks and mortar home, it’s probably the single largest item of expenditure you’ll have ahead of you. With this in mind you will want to get it right and avoid potential pitfalls. But how do you really know who’s who? Who to avoid and when you’re in safe hands? Well for a start, Sell My Group only works with trusted partner parks, like Avon Estates. So by reading this you’re halfway through the buying maze already and heading towards a safe target!
If you’re looking in Warwickshire, the Cotswolds or Shropshire then there’s a park group with plenty of new plots which might just tickle your fancy, all in top spots, so we thought we’d take you on a little tour of them below!
Avon Estates is a family-owned and run business with a great reputation in the industry. The company has a good track record of helping happy residents to buy their perfect home without stress or worry. So with Avon Estates you can just relax and enjoy your buying journey knowing they have friendly folk on hand to assist and treat you as they would want to be treated themselves. They even offer a part exchange scheme to make the process of moving go as smoothly as possible for you.
Take Welford Chase for example. On the banks of the River Avon and set in the village of Welford-on-Avon. This exclusive park has a range of riverside plots with beautiful views. There are three show homes available to move into immediately and Phase 2 of this gated, secure park is now well underway. With premium riverside plots up for grabs, this park has the potential to offer any buyer their perfect spot. Even if you’re not quite ready to buy yet it’s worth registering an interest with Avon Estates as you’ll then get early sight of the next wave of plots to be released.
Those who have their own boat or enjoy a spot of fishing will be in their element at Welford Chase, and with local shops and pubs in walking distance and Stratford-upon-Avon only four miles away, it’s a pretty idyllic location. We can almost feel the peace and quiet just talking about it! (See properties on Welford Chase for sale here)
The newest of Avon Estates’ parks is Marston Edge. The park is only 10 minutes from Stratford-upon-Avon and on the edge of the Cotswolds in a countryside location. It’s a slightly larger park than Welford Chase and there are four show homes already on site to choose from or you can have a home of your choice on your preferred plot in the park. For the area these are very affordable homes, with prices starting from £220,000. With stunning views, a bus stop outside the park and shops, pubs and a garden centre within a mile from the park, it’s well worth a look! (See properties on Marston Edge for sale here)
Over in Shropshire, a park named after a historic railway station has also been catching our eye. The heritage of the site has been incorporated into the development. Although Presthope Grange is a new development it’s very well-grounded already. As with all Avon Estates’ parks, the groundworks here stand out compared to many parks, creating a wonderful environment to retreat to. The park benefits from views out over the Shropshire Hills and Wenlock Edge and in an Area of Outstanding Beauty.
If you like a walk you’ll enjoy this spot as there are plenty of good walks from the park, and it’s pet-friendly, as are all Avon Estates’ residential parks, so a home here will keep everyone well exercised. You can be a bit of a youngster to live here too, as the park licence allows over 45’s to buy. No need to wait until the big 5-0 before you make that move. You can get on with it now and move into a home with much less maintenance, or perhaps release a bit of equity to go and live a little!
This is a good-sized park with just over 10 acres of land. Although well established, there’s still plenty of plots to choose from. So now is a good time to have a look and select your own unique view of the open countryside! (See properties on Presthope Grange for sale here)
