Moffat Manor is a beautiful resort tucked between the hills in the middle of Scotland’s countryside, making it the perfect escape from your everyday routine. If you’re a person who enjoys open space, surrounded by greenery, and the outdoors, Moffat will be the perfect location for your holiday home. The resort has plenty of nearby cycling and walking routes for you to explore, so if you’re someone who likes to keep active, you’ll have plenty of places to get out and about. On resort, we have open woodlands and a beautiful loch which is perfect for nature spotting, a bit of fishing, or just to sit and admire the tranquillity.

Moffat Manor is available for you to visit your holiday home all year round, so whatever time of year you like to get away, we’ll be happy to welcome you back. We have a range of caravans for you to choose from, sleeping different numbers of people so you can find whatever is best for you. All of our caravans have fully equipped kitchens so if you want a quiet night in you can enjoy a homely meal with your feet up in front of the TV. If you want a holiday home for a change of scenery, as a pit stop while you explore Scotland or a place to get together with friends and family, we’ll help find what suits you best.

About Moffat Manors Location

Being surrounded by the countryside and open fields means that Moffat has plenty of nature walks nearby, however, if you’re needing to pop to the shops to grab some necessities Moffat high street is only a 10-minute drive from the resort. If you’re looking to do more shopping, Dumfries is a 20-minute drive away and there are shopping centres and theatres, so you can enjoy a full day out not too far from the resort. If you want to get more into the hustle and bustle, Edinburgh is an hour and a half’s drive from the resort, there are museums, restaurants, Edinburgh Castle and so much more for you to explore. On the other hand, Glasgow is only an hours drive from Moffat too.  If you’re the type of person who enjoys the coast, Solway Coast is a 30-minute drive from Moffat, so you can look out to sea and go for a breezy walk to get some fresh, crisp air.

Dog-friendly resort

With all of the open green space we have available on the resort, it is perfect for your dog to come along with you and find different strands of grass to sniff. The safe walking routes makes our location perfect for dogs and with so many around the resort, your dog won’t get bored with the different places to go! Our caravans will give your pooch a homely place to rest their head before they go back outside to explore some more.
