Lawnsdale Country Park is only a short distance from Wrea Green village. The village has won Lancashire's Best Kept Village award on numerous occasions with its scenic green where you can watch the local team play cricket and fishermen while away the hours fishing in the large maintained pond. Wrea Green is an ideal location for leisurely strolls and picnics. Wrea Green is home to a friendly local pub called The Grapes as well as authentic Italian dining at The Villa bar and restaurant.
