A five-minute drive from the park is Danes Dyke nature reserve which has been identified as both a site of Special Scientific Interest due to its unique sea and cliff environment and a Special Protection Area due to the interesting seabird colonies. At the North of Bridlington is the historic, fishing village of Flamborough- great for sea canoeing and hikes.
