Dover Country Park is a holiday park designed for the retired and semi-retired, situated in the beautiful countryside setting of Staining next to the lively seaside town of Blackpool and coastal gem of Lytham St. Annes The park itself has onsite WiFi, disabled access, an LPG stockist, water and drainage hook-ups and visitor parking. The park is a two-minute walking distance from Staining Golf Course which is one-hundred and sixty acres and contains a bar and restaurant which has a breakfast, afternoon tea, drinks and a lunch menu. Dover Country Park is situated at a five-minute walking distance from a bus stop. Staining is served by the number 19 bus route , half a mile from a Co-op convenient store and just over half a mile from The Plough Inn friendly local pub and at the same distance from Dover Country Park is a Chinese take away - The Golden Dragon. Three miles from Dover Country Park is the seaside resort town of Blackpool. Blackpool makes a perfect day out with its many attractions including the iconic Blackpool Illuminations and Blackpool Tower which features both a stunning Tower Ballroom and Tower Circus. When visiting the town with children there are many child-friendly leisurely places to explore including the award-winning Blackpool Pleasure Beach theme park and Sandcastle water park. Blackpool is also home to the beautiful venue- The Winter Gardens where a collection of events is regularly held including live music, theatre, festivals and comedy. With its extensive range of high-street shops being centred within the Houndshill centre- Blackpool makes an ideal shopping location. The town of Lytham St. Annes lies at a sixteen-minute drive from the park.
