Facilities at Fell End Park:

The park has a range of excellent facilities including a three-and-a-half-million leisure complex including an indoor-heated pool, state-of-the-art gymnasium and steam room. Children will also be kept entertained with a soft-play area and amusement arcade. Furthermore, Fell End Nature Park is down the road from the park and makes a scenic family walk and has lots of wildlife to spot. There is a well-stocked fishing lake and facilities at the nearby sister park- Hall More Holiday Park, a five-minute walk away.

The Lake District National Park is easily accessible from the park and has much to do and see. There are walkways and cycle-routes to suit all abilities from gentle, scenic strolls to adventurous hikes and mountain-biking. The Lake District offers a great range of water activities such as boat hire at the beautiful Coniston lake- with paddleboards, motor boats, canoeing and more. Tree-top trekking at the Lake District is perfect for an adventurous family day out with thirty-five exiting tree-top obstacles finished with a zip-line, or for something more relaxed Muncaster Castle is a good day-out with a historic building surrounded by Himalayan Gardens and a stunning bluebell woods and an enchanted trail, adventure playgrounds as well as a quaint café.

The city of Lancaster is less than half-an-hours drive of the park and has many great attractions including the remarkable Williamson's Park with play areas and breath-taking views as well as the unique Tropical Butterfly House- resembling a tropical rainforest with colourful butterflies, flowers and vines. Lancaster is home to the Peter Scott Gallery with an array of international art exhibits and The Lancaster City Museum. Furthermore, the city is home to a variety of local independent retailers and boutiques as well as quirky cafes down the old-fashioned cobbled streets.
