Situated between the stunning Hartland Heritage Coast, with its dramatic views and beaches and the National Trust across Pentire Point, Hilton Woods’s Park benefits from being located on the borders of Devon and Cornwall. In fact, Devon and Cornwall have more Heritage coastline per mile than any other area in the UK.
Hilton Woods, in North Cornwall, is a fantastic location for those wishing for a coastal break and also for anyone wanting a base from which to explore the many delights of Cornwall or Devon. The beautiful park is just a short drive from the sea where you can park and pick up a coastal path walk that goes on for miles and miles. Close by is Widemouth Bay, with its stretch of famous golden sand, or you can venture a few short miles to Crackington Haven, another popular beach with cliff top walks. Local towns close to the park include Holsworthy and Bude, which have several supermarkets and there are plenty of charming Cornish villages dotted around.
Also present within a mile of the park is a Premier Whitestone Village store which has locally-sourced food such as bread, veg, cakes and meat and sits alongside national brands. Furthermore there is a lounge bar located within the store which is open until late! You can also visit the local fishing lakes or enjoy a leisurely lunch in one of the many traditional pubs or restaurants’ the area has to offer.
The peacefulness of this park is admirable! Our Hilton Woods Park has a 12-month season, making it the perfect destination.
