Local towns Congleton and Macclesfield are close by and have a lot to offer. The attractive spa town of Buxton in Derbyshire has a geothermal spring, with a constant temperature of 28ï‚° C, and hosts an annual opera and arts festival. The historic Roman City of Chester, in the west of the county, is one of the best-preserved walled cities in Britain. It is also home to the famous Chester Zoo.
