Description

Lynmouth Holiday Retreat is situated in one of the most scenic parts of the country - Exmoor National Park. Most of the holiday homes in the park feature beautiful views of the surrounding countryside, allowing you to enjoy nature while on holiday. Since the park has retained its family-owned feel for several years, you will enjoy a welcoming environment and a sense of community at this park.

With its extensive network of footpaths, you can enjoy walking over unspoiled moorland and along picturesque coastal paths leading directly from the park. This dog-friendly holiday park is the ideal base for exploring the many wonders of Exmoor and North Devon.

Lynmouth Holiday Retreat is a David Bellamy award-winning site overlooking the Lynton and Lynmouth seaside. The most beautiful scenery surrounds it with a welcoming charm and a tranquil atmosphere.

Excellent facilities and essentials are available to holidaymakers with a well-stocked self-service shop and an on-site Laundrette. There is also a children's play area. And just adjacent to the holiday park is a Country Inn.

This beautiful area is a trendy place to go for a walk. When you own a holiday home in Lynmouth Holiday Retreat, you have the opportunity to explore several pathways that lead to local Lynmouth, Lynbridge, and Lynton. There are also cliff paths that take you to Watersmeet Valley and Valley of Rocks, and Lee Bay, where you can enjoy an afternoon tea and enjoy the views. However, if you wish to explore the area more relaxedly, there are three local stables for trekking, and nearby, you can find a golf course in Saunton or Ilfracombe golf course.

You can visit Dunkery Beacon on Exmoor and admire the magnificent view from 519 metres above sea level. And then, when you feel like a little bit of adventure, take the time to explore the coastal hamlet of Bossington, which is part of the National Trust's Holnicote Estate, which occupies 12,000 acres of Exmoor National Park. Further from the park is the small town of Bossington. You can enjoy a stroll on its pebbly beach or hike up to Hurlstone Point for an excellent panoramic view.

Lynmouth Holiday Retreat benefits from a location with many attractions and historical sites. Enjoy a picnic with the family at the Landacre Bridge, stretching over the River Barle upstream from Withypool. It is listed as a Grade II building, and it is also a Scheduled Ancient Monument that consists of five arches. The sheltered position of the park and the sheep-clipped grass make it a desirable area for picnicking or swimming in the shallow river. There are also many Exmoor ponies to be seen here.

There are many facilities in Lynmouth Holiday Retreat that make it the ideal spot for holiday homeownership. The local area is an undiscovered treasure, where there is something for everyone.
