Situated on the South Western corner of the lake district on the magnificent Duddon estuary Port Haverigg Marina Village offers a little something for everyone, Ideally situated for exploring the Lake District without the hustle and bustle of some of the main tourist destinations, We have a fantastic beach right on our doorstep, perfect for a day of fun with the family! the area also boast's fabulous walks through the near by nature reserve where you can observe seals basking in the sun or if your lucky enough you may even see one of the many birds that are quite exclusive to the area! Haverigg is our nearest village only half a mile from the park entrance, it offers a host of pubs along with a well equipped shop offering a good selection of local produce, Haverigg also has a beach cafe along with a great adventure play area for the kids! Millom is our nearest town located only 2 miles from the park, here you can find a good selection of shops along with a Tesco supermarket, Millom also offers take away food outlets and an Italian Restaurant along with numerous pubs.


Exit M6 at Junction 35, signed for Carnforth. Turn left onto the A601(M), them right onto the A6 towards Milnthorpe, Continue on the A6 to Levens Hall (2 miles beyond Milnthorpe). At junction just after Levens Hall turn left and follow the brown sign onto the A590. Continue on this road for about 19 miles. (There is a roundabout on this road where you take the second exit marked for Barrow). At Greenodd, turn right onto the A5092 signed for Workington and Whitehaven. Keep going straight ahead until about 5 miles beyond Foxfield, where you turn left onto the A5093 for Millom. At T-junction in Millom (railway station on left and filling station on right) turn left. Take second road on right (Mainsgate Road) at the end of which you take a sharp right-hand bend. Drive round three sides of the grey stone building (Herdwicks Cafe) and at the bottom of the slope turn left, then keep to right for Lake View Retreat. Drive between two low stone walls and then turn right.
