Riverside Caravan Park in Kent is a beautifully maintained family-friendly destination. Situated in the serene Yorkshire countryside, it's just a short walk from the charming market town of High Bentham.

For outdoor enthusiasts, there's an abundance of activities to enjoy. The area offers a variety of walking trails suitable for all skill levels, and the terrain is perfect for both on and off-road cycling. If you're a golfer, the nearby Bentham Golf Course welcomes players of all levels, and Riverside Caravan Park guests benefit from a substantial reduction on the standard green fees.

For those who love fishing, the park has exclusive fishing rights along the River Wenning, as well as a well-stocked private lake. Our friendly reception staff are always ready to assist you upon arrival, providing information about local attractions, day trips, and current events.

An on-site warden is also available to handle general inquiries and emergencies outside of regular hours.

Adjacent to the reception area, you'll find the games room, a well-maintained indoor space for children to enjoy. It features a variety of arcade machines, pool and table tennis tables, and an air hockey table.

The outdoor play area, thoughtfully designed into the hillside, offers an ideal space for active kids to expend their energy. Riverside Caravan Park is situated along the calm stretches of the River Wenning, providing a refreshing setting for activities like paddling and dinghy sailing on a hot summer day. Fishing nets, buckets, and river shoes are available at the reception.

Further downstream, the River Wenning offers excellent fishing opportunities on the park's private stretch. Daily, weekly, and seasonal fishing permits can be obtained from reception. Moreover, for avid fishing enthusiasts, there's a well-stocked fishing lake with various fish species like carp, rudd, roach, and perch.

Our park caters to families of all ages and couples looking for a tranquil and rejuvenating getaway that's easily accessible from home. Kids have ample space to play, learn, and explore, whether it's by the riverside or along the numerous nearby public footpaths. The outdoor adventure playground on-site offers opportunities for kids to make new friends and create lasting memories.

Adults will find plenty of activities to suit their interests, whether they are outdoor enthusiasts, art aficionados, or enjoy leisurely exploration of unique boutique shops. Riverside Caravan Park is surrounded by fantastic market towns, including Bentham itself, which holds delightful surprises waiting to be discovered.

All seasonal touring pitches feature a gravel base and provide full services, including a 16-amp electricity supply via a 32-amp plug, a digital TV point, a water point, and a waste point. These pitches are clearly marked, generously spaced, and well-maintained throughout the year. Seasonal Tourer customers enjoy complimentary WiFi throughout the season.

Please note that food deliveries, such as those from major supermarkets, are not permitted on the park. There are various shops and services available in Bentham and the local area, and we encourage you to support them as part of our commitment to green tourism. Additionally, we do not allow hoverboards, segways, electric bikes, or remote-controlled cars/toys on the park. However, push bikes, skateboards, scooters, and similar items are more than welcome, with a polite request for them to be put away at 7:00 pm or when the street lights come on. This guideline is in place to ensure the peace and quiet of guests of all ages.

Situated at the intersection of Lake, Coast, and Dale, Riverside Caravan Park provides an opportunity to escape from the stresses of life and immerse yourself in the breathtaking surroundings. The park offers 59 touring pitches, all of which are level, spacious, and well-drained. This includes 12 fully serviced hard-standing pitches, 15 hard-standing pitches, and 32 level grass pitches. The fully serviced pitches feature a water standpipe, grey waste pipe, and adjacent gravel space for awnings or seating. All pitches offer electric and TV points, space for awnings, and complimentary WiFi.

Our touring pitches are generous in size, providing plenty of space for you to enjoy your holiday. Children can expend their energy on the outdoor adventure playground, which is within view of the touring area. We also have an indoor games room and a small exercise field for dogs and football.

Our award-winning amenities block is conveniently situated for all touring pitches and can be accessed using a fob. The facilities include a disabled shower room and toilet, a family bathroom, a utility room for washing up, and a chemical toilet disposal point.

The touring area is open from February 14th to January 2nd. We recommend booking to ensure your stay with us, especially during Bank Holidays. You can make your reservation over the phone or through our online booking system.

For your convenience, our on-site shop, located within the reception building, stocks a small selection of caravan accessories and everyday essentials. However, please note that we do not sell food or newspapers since High Bentham is a well-supplied village with a variety of offerings to fulfill your needs.
