Safety, security and privacy gives added peace of mind as this holiday home park is secluded within a gated community. There’s a relaxed, rural atmosphere, perhaps suited more towards older couples and singles. Serving a wide range of reasonably priced breakfast / lunch options from 10am to 2pm and main meals between 6pm and 8pm this stunning eatery overlooking the river also incorporates a hotel suite and a function room. The 24 hour ASDA supermarket five minutes away from the holiday park will cater for all needs with its provision of groceries, clothing, pharmacy, cash machine and petrol station. Additionally, the town centre, less than ten minutes away, has a wider range of shopping facilities and all the fun of a traditional seaside resort. Queen Victoria hospital is also less than ten minutes away.

Nearby Morecambe Bay has some of the most beautiful coastlines in Britain and features a number of long distance and cycling pathways designed to highlight the natural landscape. Routes start in the Bay area and include the Way of the Roses – a long distance cycle route stretching as far afield as Bridlington.

The headlands of Morecambe Bay offer stunning scenic views across the tidal sand and mud flats toward the Lake District and the Bowland Fells, and there’s an incredible range of outdoor activities for the more adventurous – choose between paragliding, parachuting, windsurfing, mountain biking, house riding and kite surfing.

With its golden sandy beaches and coastal walkways, Morecambe Bay appeals to all ages – an idyllic estuary region perfect for relaxing, exploring and enjoying the great outdoors whilst visiting the park.

Riverside Holiday Park itself offers a wonderful all year round retreat away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Its location on the banks of the river Lune is calm, peaceful and picturesque, forming the perfect base to discover Morecambe Bay and Lancashire coastal town. Furthermore, the addition of guest facilities at the neighbouring hotel means that family friends can visit your Riverside holiday home without worrying about their accommodation needs.
