Riverview Country Park is a beautiful place for mature residents to settle down and find a new tranquil way of life amongst the scenic and placid Scottish countryside.

With beautiful nature, beaches, and places of interest around, Riverview Park makes the ideal retirement home. Lodges on the site are well-equipped and fully furnished with well-built decking, there are currently one-hundred and twenty-eight lodges on site.

The lodges are designed for excellent money value, good use of space, comfort, and a taste of luxury with certain lodges on the site featuring a deluxe hot tub. There is a park reception with an owner enquiry centre on-site to ensure any resident's queries can be answered and specific needs can be met. The park is set in the beautiful Scottish countryside within the attractive and tranquil town of Forres. Forres is one of Scotland's oldest towns and is abundant in beautiful scenery and architecture with its many impressive parks, gardens, and classically designed buildings which can be easily explored with a bus stop leading to the town being a four-minute walk from the park. The town is steeped in history and Castlehill in Forres is well-visited due to it being the location of the ruins to the castle in which Macbeth ruled over Moray in 1040.

Another historical monument within Forres is the Sueno's stone which shows intricate patterns inscribed on an enormous stone that has survived since the Scottish medieval era. Both historical monuments take five minutes to arrive at when driving from the park. Forres is home to two of the whiskey distilleries which belong to Scotland's Malt Whiskey trail meaning the distilleries are open to visitors. There is a range of sporting facilities within Forres to keep active with, this includes many football fields, a cricket pitch, two bowling rinks, swimming pool and fitness centre, squash courts, all-weather tennis courts, small bore rifle shooting, two 18-hole golf courses, and Forres House Community Centre, which caters for badminton, archery, gymnastics, bowling, and basketball. Eating out in Forres gives a wide range of options for both dining out and takeaway with the option of Thai, Italian, Chinese, Indian and Scottish Cuisine. The city of Inverness takes less than fifty minutes to arrive when travelling from the park and is easy to access due to the park being located on the A96. Inverness still retains its rural countryside heart, however, is also a dynamic city and is full of life. There is an abundance of beautiful scenery and walking destinations such as the stunning Plodda Falls waterfall and riverside spectacles through the Ness island walk. The city's rich history is present throughout the many historical monuments and museums, such as the Cromarty Courthouse Museum. The 'Old Town' area of Inverness offers a large collection of independent retailers however loved-modern high street stores are also available within the city and are located at The East Gate Shopping Centre. A large range of eateries is also available from local friendly pubs, to fine-dining, takeaways, and independent local cafes.
