Riverview Holiday Park is an exclusive environment for the over 50s. Situated in the picturesque village of Newcastleton, in the heart of the Liddesdale Valley, placed between several main towns Gretna Green, Langholm and Hawick. Just 20 miles north of our nearest City Carlisle. Also within easy reach of the beautiful Lake District, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Park information & Facilities
Site Fees: £1700 inclusive of VAT per annum. This includes rates, water and grounds maintenance.
Park Open: The park is open all year round.
Utilities: Utilities are mains gas & electric these are metered and paid quarterly at the suppliers rates.
Lodge Insurance: Insurance for the lodges is arranged by you, the owner. We can also recommend companies to you and advise on the best policy.
Lodge License: Lodges are on site for 50 years then the license is reviewed after this period.
Facilities: On site facilities include River Fishing for all lodge owners, French Boules and a lovely scenic Woodland Dog Walk within the park grounds.
All our lodges are fully furnished and provided with a t.v, telephone and internet access points.

We would also be pleased to quote for any home that may be of interest to you.
About New homes:
At Riverview we have a selection of plots available on our new development. These plots can accommodate a new lodge of your choice. Lodges at Riverview will be of superior construction. Prices of new lodges include transport, delivery, siting connection to services including gas and electric, and alongside block paved parking. The quote price is a turn key price.
What rights and obligations are there?
All lodge owners will have formal written statement. The agreement sets out the obligations of both lodge owners and the park owners. Please ask for a free copy of the agreement if you would like more details.
How long can my lodge stay at Riverview Holiday Park?
We are pleased to offer owners of new lodges an agreement for 50 years.
Are there any other rules?
There is a set of park rules which apply to everybody visiting Riverview. The rules apply to all visitors including day or short term visitors.
Can I sub-let my lodge?
We don't allow commercial sub-letting of lodges, although your friends and family are welcome to stay in your lodge.
What about maintaining my lodge?
You are responsible for maintaining your lodge. We can provide advise if requested. We can also put you in touch with local tradesman.
What are the annual costs?
The site fee for 2015/16 for a lodge is £1,700 per annum (inc. rates, water, waste and ground maintenance) Site fees are due £850 on 1st January and £850 1st July each year. Other costs are Gas and Electric which are metered and billed quarterly @ suppliers rate.
What is Riverview's open season?
We are pleased to have been granted a 12 month license this year so we now operate on a 12 month season.
A peaceful and tranquil setting in the Scottish Borders nestled on the banks of Liddel Water, with much to see and do, from country walks, golf, cycling, horse riding and fresh water fishing. At Riverview we hold the exclusive rights to fishing on the Liddel River within the grounds of the park.
All our homes are fitted with a T.V aerial, telephone, broadband connection, central heating, double glazing, electricity, mains gas, mains water and comes with fully landscaped roads and private block paved driveways. Our manager and office staff are there to help, allowing you peace of mind should your home be unattended.
The park has been carefully planned to provide spacious living, well laid out gardens and private spaces for vehicles. We can even help you to choose the location of your plot. The Grounds are suitably landscaped to retain the serene and tranquil surroundings of this beautiful countryside and kept to a very high standard.
We offer exclusive rights to fishing on the River Liddel, which runs along the bottom of the park, to all our Lodge owners.
