Description

Shirkoak Park is situated in The Weald of Kent and close to the beautiful village of Woodchurch. This Park is set in rolling countryside, with the added benefit of superb fishing ponds, acres of open walking fields and a designated relaxation area for residents called The Spinney. With an abundance of wildlife, this park really is the place to settle down and really enjoy your retirement. Less than a mile away in Woodchurch village, there are two public houses serving hot and cold food daily and during the spring and summer months morris dancers perform. This village has all the local amenities including a post office, farm shop, small general store, garage and a doctor's surgery. The village of Woodchurch became established in the 13th century with the erection of the large All Saints church which was made of Kentish ragstone. The church tower is unusual as it houses four clock faces which allows it to be seen throughout the village.

The village green is the hub of the local community where the village come together for regular events and festivities. It is the home to the local football and cricket clubs that use the pavilion on the green. Alongside the green is the Village Memorial Hall, Annexe, and tennis courts which can be used by the park residents. The County town of Ashford is not far away and there is a bus stop at the entrance to the park making it convenient to travel to local villages and markets. In Ashford, there are all the usual superstores and two very good shopping areas, one of which is a purpose built designer outlet. The International Train Station is situated here with regular trains departing from London to the continent. If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and enjoy peace and tranquility, Shirkoak Park is the perfect place for you. It provides both an idyllic place to relax and enjoy life and a fantastic investment opportunity. Here, you can make the most of your life and enjoy the golden years of your retirement.
