Widemouth Bay beach takes four-minutes to drive to from the park and twenty-minutes to walk. The bay is a popular tourist destination due to its beautiful scenery and large collection of rock pools to be explored. Widemouth Bay also has superb water quality and is a hub for surfers with surfing schools being available to all ages and abilities from unexperienced to advanced-surfers. Bude town takes seven-minutes to drive to from the resort and offers a perfect family day out with an endless list of things to do. Families may choose to explore a great collection of wildlife including otters, deer, wallabies and waterfowl at the Tamar Otter and Wildlife Centre.
