Lower Lacon Caravan Park is a popular, family run campsite located in the heart of north Shropshire, a mile from the charming market town of Wem. Green fingered campers might like to attend the annual flower show, one of the biggest horticultural events in England. This is the county town of Shropshire and also boasts an abbey and a castle, plus, of course, there are plenty of places to grab something to eat, so you can enjoy a night away from the kitchen on your holidays. It's also a good place for shopping, but even better is Birmingham, but that's a little further afield, about a 90-minute drive from this campsite.The lovely countryside here on the English/Welsh borders is well worth exploring.
