It is on the A40 between Brecon (to the north west) and Abergavenny (to the south east) so it's easy to access, no matter what your starting point is.In the heart of the breathtaking Brecon Beacons National Park, if you love the great outdoors, a pitch at this campsite could help you get out there. Several walking routes head out from Crickhowell and cover the area around the park. You could also head out on two wheels, or enjoy the views from the comfort of your car. There are some well known and challenging mountain biking routes and trails in Cwmbran, which is about 40 minutes south of this site – follow the A465, then the A4042.A wide range of activities can be discovered throughout the Brecon Beacons. Many of the waterways running through the park offer opportunities for fishing, while guests looking for an adrenaline rush can occupy themselves with watersports, climbing and abseiling at various points across the park.It will take you under half an hour to drive up the road to Brecon, a lovely market town. Less than 20 miles down the A465 from Riverside Caravan Park is Merthyr Tydfil. It'll take around 40 minutes to drive there.
