Wood Park Caravans is a picturesque holiday park close to the popular village of Tenby, in the heart of Pembrokeshire on the south Wales coast. Wood Park is open from mid-April until late September and welcomes families and couples.The park is well-sheltered in woodland and offers wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. Electric hook-ups are available at a number of pitches across Wood Park. Other facilities on-site include a heated amenities block, a laundrette and an area where you can do your washing up.While the park is quiet and offers an unspoiled location for a break, there is still plenty to do and enjoy on the site. There is plenty of open space for families to explore and enjoy ball games, while a games room with pool tables and amusement arcades is popular with children, although mum and dad are welcome, too! Wood Park also has Wi-Fi that guests can connect to during their stay. There's a licensed bar, too, which is a great location for guests to enjoy a quiet drink at the end of a day on the park or in the surrounding area.Family caravan holidays in Wales have long been popular and there is much to do around Pembrokeshire National Park, the boundary of which is just a short distance from Wood Park Caravans. The coastline around the park is widely regarded as one of the best in the world, with tourists able to enjoy everything from gentle walks along the cliff tops to adrenaline fuelled water sports like windsurfing and jet skiing. The beaches are all rugged and unspoiled, and are a great place to spend the day, with the sea suitable for paddling, swimming and fishing, with caves and rock pools in various locations for families to explore. Other popular activities available close by include horse riding and golf – nearby Nolton Stables even offers beach riding! Or why not try kitesurfing? Newgale, overlooking St Brides Bay, is about 45 minutes from this campsite and is one of the places where people of all abilities can have a go at this exciting activity.The walled seaside town of Tenby is less than 10 minutes from Wood Park Caravans by car, making it a handy place to pop to when pitched at this campsite in Wales, whether you want a bite to eat or you need a trip to the supermarket to top up your holiday supplies. Carmarthen is also only about a half hour drive from site, while Llanelli is about an hour away and Swansea is about a 70-minute drive, if you need somewhere more substantial, or you fancy a day out there.
