The village itself is hundreds of years old, and one of the top spots to see is the medieval bridge that crosses the River Thurne and dates from 1385. Because of it, only boats with a low air draft can sail past it!
Another notable spot in the village is the Church of St Nicholas. Dedicated to the patron saint of fishermen and children, the church dates from the 12th century and has a 14th-century octagon-shaped extension that is one of the best-preserved in the country.
There are a few pubs in the village which offer a range of food and drink. You can also travel to nearby Ludham where there is also a local pub known for its food, drink and live music called The Kings Arms.
