Back in September of last year, Omar, the UK’s leading park home and holiday lodge manufacturers, showcased three brand new luxury Omar lodges at The Caravan Extravaganza: the Manhattan, the Southwold and the Westfield.
We’re going to take a look at each of the new lodges and what they have to offer.
The 2016 Manhattan is Omar’s latest entry into the mid to high-end single luxury lodge market.
Clad in the reddish-gold of Sierra Canexel, the lodge has a striking exterior. The lodge has a glazed, stepped front aspect with French doors.
French doors, plus another set to the side of the lodge and three skylights help flood the lodge with natural light. This gives the lodge and its living area a wonderfully light and spacious feel.
The Omar lodge features an open plan living area which consists of a lounge as well as kitchen and dining areas. These use soft colours and subtle botanical prints.
As for the furnishings, the lounge area features walnut furniture from Bentley Designs. As well as this there is a wall-hung contemporary fireplace.
The kitchen area is fitted with a full array of modern appliances and storage space, and even includes a wine cooler!
Finally, the master bedroom features a walk-in wardrobe as well as an en-suite bathroom, which is a rarity in a single lodge. Additionally, there’s also a secondary bedroom with a bunk bed. The bunk bed makes it ideal for those holidaying with young children.
The new Southwold is a fantastic affordable but luxurious option as a first holiday lodge. It retains the popular exterior, featuring a glazed front aspect with French doors. However, the French doors now feature denim, green and natural grey colours.
The lodge features a great open plan living space. There is a lounge, kitchen and dining areas which all have contemporary design.
The living area features a comfy lounge suite, contemporary electric fire and coffee table. It is is spacious, comfortable and a great place to wind down at the end of the day.
Behind it lies the dining area. The dining area has an extended dining table and a fully fitted kitchen with striking contemporary ivory units.
Both bedrooms are generously sized. The master bedroom features its own walk-in wardrobe, and the bathroom is spacious, with a combi-shower over the bath.
The Westfield is an extremely popular and affordable model and is, in fact, the UK’s most popular letting lodge.
The new model improves upon this already popular design, with a walk-in wardrobe and coat area providing more storage space and a fresh new colour scheme
The exterior of the lodge is clad in River Rock Canexel, although other colours and claddings are available to suit), and retains its tall slender windows and the angled windows and French doors to the front.
On the inside, the living area is contemporary and open plan, with a kitchen, dining and lounge area featuring a new earthy colour scheme.
The dining area of the new model is larger and features an extended dining room and the galley style kitchen is fully fitted with all of the appliances you would expect.
The lounge area now includes an additional practical boot seat as well as additional storage and coat hooks next to the side door.
Finally, the bedrooms come with coordinated soft furnishings and the master bedroom features an en-suite shower and a big walk-in wardrobe.
