Nowadays it is becoming more and more difficult to find employment so people of all ages want to, or are having to, turn themselves into entrepreneurs, and to be honest it's a lovely feeling. When you work for yourself opportunities tend to come your way and you find yourself getting involved in business opportunities you would never have thought of.

In 2003 I moved to France and bought a property with my wife and three beautiful children and turned it into a holiday complex. I was 45 and even though I had a well paid job, company car, money in the bank and owned my own property, the pull of having the freedom of working for myself had always been there. I have since sold the business and now run various other small businesses.

The main problem I had in the beginning was marketing these businesses, and the cost of the website. I was regularly being quoted thousands of pounds by agencies for websites that I have since found were being farmed out to other agencies with the initial one charging me a thousands of pounds for the service.

The cost of the website was now becoming an issue, not only because of the initial cost, but also the regular updates and search engine optimisation "SEO" they wanted to perform. All of this was very expensive so for this reason I looked at various self-help website building software packages, and to cut a long story short found Jimdo.

Now I had found Jimdo and had signed up I started playing with it, even though it was and is quite easy, I was having problems with the initial set up of what I wanted to do and achieve. The look and feel I wanted to portray was a bit more difficult than I had initially thought.

Don't get me wrong the software is excellent, its just the initial start up and support I needed help with. I've since built websites for myself and others and would now like to offer other entrepreneurs a cost effective website that once built they can easily manage themselves. If they have a problem I am here to help at no cost for the lifetime your website is hosted by Jimdo.
